Laith didn’t think he’d finish this race.

Actually… he didn’t even think he belonged at the start line.

  • Work stress had piled up.

  • Training hadn’t gone to plan.

  • He was tired. Disconnected. Burnt out.

And he only completed 2.5 hours of training per week…

2:38 of avg. swim, bike, run time in 5 months leading into race week

When we got Chattanooga 70.3, Laith quietly told me:

“I think this might be the end of my endurance journey.”

He didn’t say it with drama. Just honesty. Like a guy who’d run out of fuel.

But then something changed…

Laith had a chance to bail on the whole race when the swim was cancelled.

Then he had another chance to bail when he had mechanical issues building his bike after flying…

And he had another chance to bail when he started the race and realized his handlebars weren’t screwed in…

But because Laith was surrounded by a Team, he kept going anyway — even when he didn’t feel ready and his process was messy.

He kept putting one foot in front of the other.

And when he finally rounded that last corner and came through the Tribal Tunnel…

High-fives. Crowd roaring. Teammates screaming.

And something deeper rising inside him.

After the race, Laith said this:

“That was the best version of me I’ve ever seen.”

  • Not the fastest.

  • Not the fittest.

  • The best.

The version of him that kept going when it got hard.

That stayed in the fight.

That didn’t show up just for himself — but for the people around him, too.

That’s what we do at Tribal.

We don’t just train. We don’t just race. We help each other rise.

And now, I want to ask you something:

What if the best version of you is still ahead?
And what if that version needs a team to bring it out?

Chattanooga 70.3. May 2026. It’s time.

We’re building the crew right now. We had 11+ athletes commit this week.

And I want you to be part of it.

Let’s get you across a finish line you’ll never forget.

And help you meet the version of yourself you’ve been chasing all along.

Onward.
